Big day tomorrow, don't forget to vote! If you don't know who the person is on the ballot or you don't understand the Question, don't check the box, it won't cancel your ballot. Hope you vote for the best person for the job and not just a party, it's time for some changes.

Problem is that a large portion will only vote party line regardless, another large portion will not educate themselves on all available candidates...

In fairness let me add, its a tough deal when the majority of those who we vote for are so corrupt and FOS in the 1st place or are going to go against their views when the going gets tough and they want to promote their careers

The mudslinging is fierce this year all the way down to our district judge....don't know if it's true or just parties trying to hold on to what they've got. Several races I'm not even voting on.

Just voted. Dragged NP along. Guess what full-page ad greeted us on the back of this morning's paper?

rofl. There's also a lot of ads reminding us all to vote no on 744, but this is much more dramatic :D

If it looks like some prop. is giving the government more power or more tax dollars, vote no.

It's funny the two candidates here for the 2nd CD are running adds accusing the other of inproprieties and they both admit they have no proof of their accusations but just pulled it off some blog.

While I have been not entirely impressed with Askins and Fallin as far as taking strong leadership stances on positions, there is one thing that we can probably all agree on - this has been one of the cleanest, least-mud slinging gubernatorial races I have ever seen. While supporters of either candidate have been making fat jokes and trooper jokes, Fallin and Askins personally have been nothing but complimentary of each other and that is something that is to their credit.

Thanks for a clean campaign, ladies. Whoever wins, please represent our state with the same class and respect that you've shown your opponent this election :)

All I really know about Okies Governor candidates is that Fallin is considered extremely conservative and Askins would be considered a strong Republican in most states, lol

Why do people urge everyone to vote? I only want those that will vote for my candidate to vote. The others can stay home.

I've already cancelled your vote. You should stay home.

W. said something to this effect during his first campaign. He was like "If you choose to vote for me, I thank you. If you choose to vote for my opponent... please only vote once."

It was ironic, because there were reports of voter irregularities about multiple votes cast in some places during that election
