Every November or any vote for that matter my company (CEO) release their position on what said bill/question would do and what his vote will be. This year they only offered their opinion on 2 of the state questions.

Here are those opinions:

#744 - Vote No

Basically for all the other reason's you've heard and read.

#752 - Vote Yes

Basically - This state question would eliminate spouses of trial lawyers on the commission and bring bi-partisan layman's voice to appointing judges.

Does your work do this?
Does it influence you?

It influences me enough to at figure what the agenda my company has and try to figure out why. #752 - I had and still don't really get it.

Nope on the second. Couldn't be more wrong. You have no idea who makes up the members of the JNC, it sure isn't the spouses of trial lawyers. They do a good job now and this just makes no sense.

I'll be the first to tell you I had no idea about #752. It seems insane to me that they would actually allow trial lawyers spouses.

Most of the folks complaining are ones whose unqualified friends don't make it out of committee. Just about all that come out of the JNC are qualified jurists.
