Why do they put pickles on it? I've never understood that.

People put pickles on all sorts of things that don't need it. Hamburgers, hot dogs, Chick-Fil-A.

My thought is that it distracts from the taste if there's something not quite right with the rest of the food.

My son will be so happy--he always wants to know when we pull in the drive-thru, "Do the have those rib thingys without the bones? Ya know, just the meat in the shape of the bones?" He's home sick today, that will fo sho cheer him up, though I'll prolly have to go get him one. Maybe I'll tell him tomorrow. ;)

I read an article on Yahoo! not long ago about the McRib. Some people monitor where it is sold at different times during the year online on some website. Some drive 8-10 hours to get one. Insane. I liked them when I was like 12, but I haven't had one in probably 8 years. Then again, I eat McDonalds....and when I do I normally stick with McNuggets.

I am pretty excited. I am glad that my CHK Health Check is tomorrow, that way I don't have to worry about the cholesterol/blood pressure when $300 is on the line.

The only seasonal fast food item I follow is the Whataburger honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich. Its a holiday for me every year when it comes back.

The only thing at McDonalds that I'll eat are the hot cakes and sausage breakfasts. If nothing else, McDonalds can make a damned good pancake.

Agreed. I live on junk food and couldn't care less about eating healthy, but McDonalds just tastes bad.

I'll tell you what I miss down here in MS....Long John Silver's.

I have a tradition in which I have LJS once per year on New Year's Day. I wash it down with a large Mountain Dew, another once a year treat. Don't forget the malt vinegar, please.
