Nancy isn't going to lose. Not even close.

She is going to lose her power and possibly retire.

Nancy isn't going to lose. Not even close.

Provided the Republicans take control of the house (which it looks like they have a good chance of doing) the rumor is that she'll opt to 'retire' rather than face a fight to be the minority leader. Despite what either side would really like to be known, her main power base has really eroded during her time as Speaker, and her final push was to maneuver more liberal people into chairperson positions over democrats considered to be less liberal (yes there is such a thing).

Republicans did the same thing in 2006 when they lost majority control of the House. It's been a pretty consistent thing whenever it's been the cyclical change.

I'm no fan of Reid, but God help America if that moonbat running against him wins.

It didn't seem Obama had a good relationship with either the last two years. They didn't seem to get alot done (Thank God) with a majority in both houses.

There is a rumor out there that Hillary wants the nom in 2012 and theres a split in the democratic Party.

It wouldn't surprise me. Both the pubs and the dems know their parties are in trouble with the American people.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if Hillary was planning on being veep and getting Biden out of the way so she could Whitewater Obama.

Yeah, because that's what I said. It's a lose/lose situation. At least with the lose that is Reid, you know what you get. Maybe your boys will get lucky and gain majority control of the Senate lessening his impact.

I used to be a fan of voting for anyone just to get rid of someone that seemingly felt they were entitled to the Office....but doing so now could possibly put someone who can't be taught to do the right thing once in office. Now we get a TeaPotter that's so naive that nothing might get done when it's really needed. I can dig folks who would like to lower taxes and the National debt...what I can't get is someone who thinks it's possible to do it in a week.

No Tuba, that actually does not sum it up. The last 2 years could have been a period of fiscal rejuvenation and it's very likely that the GoP would stand a good chance at regaining control of one or both parts of Congress.

The last 2 years could have been a period of fiscal rejuvenationThe only thing being rejuvenated the last 2 years is the debt clock, to add more digits, thanks to the donks pissing away trillions for no reason.

Wait, I think the subject of the "summing up" was hijacked.

Im hoping Nancy loses her 15 billion dollar airplane.
along with the 15million it takes to run it each year.

Perhaps members of congress could fly commercial, and save us a bunch of money?

dems lose the house but retain the senate.

Colorado is looking like a real battle, 40 million spent on political advertising for the senate seat, it's a record apparently.
