I laugh...

I know, I was back and forth wanting to go to the big game this season... I know, we should always want to go there, but I want to win the next time we appear. I just didn't think this was our year to win it. So, I'm excited where we are at... and wanting to creep up slowly. FSU winning would have only helped.

True but it's out of our control. I've quit wishing and now I'm back to let's win this next game. We were really in the limelight there for a week. Mizzou will be lucky to win this week...nevermind be in the limelight we were....but...if they win out and we winout...I'll crawl to Dallas to see that one again.

I cant imagine the cards falling to get us to the MNC, but winning the Big XII in it's last year of 12 teams puts us in a nice BCS bowl and it doesnt matter what the teams do that we have played already.

Just because we play a better bowl this year doesn't mean it was a good season...an improvement from last year, absolutely. But not going to a BCS this year after going 6-0 can't do any good. And remember that the best way to set up a run next year is to start high in the rankings, so we could afford to lose a game and still be in the hunt. I still believe we have a chance to make it this year, and will believe til proven otherwise. Meanwhile let's beat the **** outta Colorado on Saturday.

And it's for that reason, having an opportunity to get revenge on BSU, TCU etc., that I can totally see us getting paired with Pitt if we make a BCS bowl.
