We're told Charlie's rep has already contacted bigwigs at The Plaza and made it clear -- Charlie will pay for anything he damaged or destroyed during all the craziness. We're hearing the cost is estimated at $7,000 ... but it could go higher.

One big reason for Charlie's rep to jump on paying the tab .... we're told The Plaza has no interest in having Charlie prosecuted for criminal mischief -- provided the hotel is made whole.

We once did several hundred dollars in damage to a room in a Tulsa hotel. We tried our best to hide it, but there's no way it went unnoticed. The head board was ripped from the wall, a table had a leg broken off, the TV remote was shattered, etc, etc. I was absolutely amazed that they never charged a single dime extra on my card or even tried to contact me. Of course I never tried going back to that hotel again. ;)

Yep and she continues to stand by him...

I have this feeling that yeah maybe he did it...but also maybe it's smart to try to keep his image as a Bed Boy alive from time to time. He's not going to get arrested or charged with anything evidently and all he has to do is pay for the damages at the Hotel. The Hotel also gets airtime. I guess the Hotel will decide how much they like the attention by refusing him a room in the future.

Dude is 45 years old and a Father...not quite the Bad Boy you'd expect to see these days.

I'm pretty sure that most on here could never comprehend keeping up with him. I used to burn it pretty well, but some of those guys are like trained professionals and I partied with a lot of the pros- Black Crowes ( I bailed around 5AM), Lenny Kravitz, Matt Dillon & Fisher Stevens...

It's a whole other level.
