That's no joke. Man, the refs threw a ticky tack flag on the interference in the endzone a bit ago. Then Boise fumbles the ball at the goal line and it bounces right in front of their own player. Talk about luck.
But anyway, they'll beat these guys silly without the refs help, so doesn't make much difference.

They stopped scheduling road games against AQ's a while ago. Seems they didn't care much for going 1-8 on the road against above average AQ teams.

They struggled against Tulsa last year. If that game would have been against any AQ school they would have lost.

Oh, and UO didn't do so hot against Boise last I remember. I don't like Boise sleep-walking through the WAC to get to the MNC, but wasn't the last time they were bitch-slapped by ANYBODY like in 2005?

I would take any undefeated or one-loss, power conference team over any mid-major. Not because I feel like Boise wouldn't find a way to win it, but because I respect the road to a title BCS conference champs have to go through to get there.

Example: how good is Kellen Moore or Jared Zabransky against better competition with a mushed elbow like Heupel suffered in 2000? How good is BSU if they suffer the bumps and bruises of better competition down the stretch like OU did in 2009? If you give me Sam Bradford at Virginia Tech or Oregon State, I'll take OU anyday of the week. Take him away for an elite CFB rivalry game with Texas, Leach's Texas Tech team in Lubbock, Ndamokung Suh's Huskers and a matchup with the 12th-ranked team in the country to close out the season and... well... you know.

No doubt Petersen is a good coach and that BSU produces talent, but they are what they are in the media's eyes because of where they are. What happens if Alabama and BSU switch schedules? Hardly seems fair to Bama to play that gauntlet of SEC teams that all get a BYE week to prepare for them, let's let Boise try that? No? Oh, okay... let's just let them into the championship game somebody else likely fought much harder to attain.

They have given up 20 points to a 3-4 La Tech team and La Tech was inside the 10 three times and came up with no points because they missed a FG and the other times they just went for it on 4th. A legit team would have scored 40 on them and held them under 30 tonight. I'm still not impressed.

So you beat Oregon State at home....so does 4 or 5 teams every year. So you beat Va. Tech on a neutral field.....so does at least 3 teams per year, such as D-II James Madison. The rest of the schedule is garbage. Sorry if I don't respect that.

No, it was 07 @ UW. They couldn't beat a good team on the road (besides Oregon) to save their life. They also lost to powerhouses such as Hawaii and ECU that year as well.

Since 2000 Boise has only played 9 road games against BCS conference schools. They are 1-8 in those 9 games.
