Forget 2012, the apocalypse is coming soon. Right after BSU and TCU play for the MNC we all explode. That is all.

I like this. I really don't know how to react since we've never been in this position, but when I figure it out, I'll let you all know!

Although, I was disappointed by OU's loss tonight.

Baylor might now win another game this year but for right now congratulations. They did what they had to while we choked today as did OU

No doubt. I'll bet SicEm wakes up with a bad headache, and next to a gal he doesn't know, but he could have sworn she was a 10 last night and now she's a 3.

We truly, deeply, madly are totally doomed now.

P.S. Of course we will still kick Baylor's *** in Waco.

Are they really? I figured they would be at the bottom of the 3 way tie between 1 loss teams in the South since their loss was to another South team.

I'd say our offense is better than yours. The problem is, your offense is a LOT better than our defense.

Yeah I've seen nothing that tells me @ Baylor, @A&M, and @ Stoolwater are gonna be gimmes.

It depends upon which OU offense shows up. The one I saw last Saturday night would have its way with you anywhere. The one I saw tonight wouldn't.

I still like our chances against everyone left on our schedule and expect to see the Sooners in the Big 12 Championship Game.

As for the rest of the season, I absolutely believe we'll beat Aggie with a chance of an upset over either OSU, TX, or OU.

They're a .5 game ahead of everybody.

They are bowl eligible, but the South 1st place ranking won't last.

But Baylor does not have a very good defense. OU should score at each on Baylor.

Baylors next games:

@ Texas
@ OSU
TA&M
OU

Are you freaking kidding me? Texas will rebound from this loss. I think OSU will pull it out at home. A&M is a toss up so I will give it to the Bears. Then us..... Seriously, do you really think they will lead the South?

They are all winnable games..... Tough, and they'll probably drop one or two. But they are winnable.

Well, any game is winnable.... THis is college football. I use logic. And I even took off my crimson glasses. Tell me you don't approve?

Very good sir, I approve.:P

Baylor last year, and just about every year for that matter since they joined the Big 12, I wouldn't tout as capable of winning those games, now I am saying that they are a LOT better and has a legitimate shot at winning them.

Uh, I don't think anyone suggested we would finish #1 in the South. This thread simply points out we're #1 as of this weekend. But please, don't let me stop you from being a tool.

It's not so much as which offense of ours shows up, as it is whose defense we play. Against a good defense when we can't run the ball, we are very ordinary , at best...............

Yes, that 3-1 conference mark is due in no small part to that 3 coming against North Division (and the bottom at that) opponents, with the 1 being a loss to sand aggie. In any other season, you'd figure the remaining four games would be Baylor losses. But this year, sa*et has shown a surprising tendency to lose at home to teams that on paper at least they should beat by double-digits. Neither of the aggie teams seem to play defense and even their game with OU is in Waco. This year, then, Baylor fans should expect good things from their team.
