2007 I think. Both teams lost the week before the RRS.

That's what I say for OUr guys, and although we are likely out of the NC race, let's go make this a year to be proud of! :)

Yes it hurts. But honestly I knew this team wasn't going undefeted. It's all good. It's what there going to learn from this game that going to make the difference. I had a thread earlier in the year that said this team was different. They are. We played a terrible game on the road in a hostile invironment and still had a chance. We saw a glimpse of our future. Very disappointing night as an OU fan. But the first play of the game set the tone for the night.

Logically do I think we will still have a good year? Sure. I'm hoping for mizzou to beat the huskers next week, we win out then we can beat their asses in the Big 12 game.

However, tomorrow I am putting a moratorium on sports. Don't want to hear about BCS, ESPN or the so called experts.

Taking refuge in this thread from all the doomsday threads on this board right now. It's never more apparent, the expectations of Sooner fans, than after an unexpected loss. As a fan base we we're cocky, with little warranted vindication. We will be fine, this team is young and made game changing mistakes tonight. There's still half a season to play.

To be honest, after last season and losing so many key players to the NFL, I wasn't so sure how this season would turn out. Though something needs to be done about our performance in away games, the performances from so many of our freshmen have really been one of this season's pleasant surprises. We're still on track for the conference championship game, and thats really the main goal I had in mind when this season started.
