It's hard being an OU fan.

Most other fan bases would LOVE being a 1 loss team. But when you contend for a national championship each year, one loss SUCKS.

It is obvious that Missouri wanted this game more than OU. Yes, it looks like OU's road woes continue but this Missouri team looks like the best I've seen since Stoopsie has been at Oklahoma. This is a team team. They have their work cut out for them at Nebraska next week but if they play like this next week they win. If they play in the Big12 CG and OU is there in Dallas I think OU can win, but not make the mistakes they have tonight.

It used to be that Oklahoma would become more and more intimidating as the game went on, and they got in people's heads (esp Texas, Okie State, and Mizzou). Now they can play a team even for 3 quarters and then just lose it in the 4th - especially the run D. And in many wins they start out looking dominant and then let a team back into the game in the 4th.

Makes me think the problem is the strength & conditioning staff.

It wasnt the refs fault....but OU's fault.

1. OU should be up 45-29 not losing.
2. The refs did miss a lot of holding and hands to the face calls in the first quarter. but really had not effect in the game.
3. OU imploded on the road, yet again.

We will see you tools in Dallas, and I can promise this much, OU will be hoisting the Big 12 Championship Trophy.

Missouri benefitted from OU's mistakes. Good lucka nd accept the win and move on. 7-1 vs. Missouri under Stoops.

The offense controls the pace of the game. When you get the ball next, it's much more advantageous to you than to Missouri to know whether OU has to score once or twice.

If you wait until the 2nd TD to find out, and then you miss it, you're probably too late and the game's over, and had you known earlier, you would have hurried up more and taken more risks to give yourself a chance to win. Except, you CAN know earlier, by going for it the first time.

Well I gotta give props to the Mizzou O-line. They are the real stars of this game. Outside of that unit, I think we are pretty evenly matched save Landry's typical road game issues. But through the whole game, their O-line showed up and played lights out. Good luck with the rest of your season.

I'm also disappointed by the play of our offense. Our o-line let them get a lot of pressure. Landry just runs backwards with no idea of what to do when someone is coming at him. Landry threw some backbreaking picks.

I think it's really hard to watch this team play so poorly. It's not like we got beat in a hard fight where we played our best. We played like garbage and lost.

In the long run, I'm happy to be an OU fan and I'm proud of what we've accomplished over the past decade. But right now I'm really just unhappy with another poor road performance and another loss in another big game.

Dline is weak and got dominated. Secondary is good but didn't wrap up. Too many mistakes. Mu is a good team and we are too. Congrats. We need to regroup. Confusion by the coaches causes confusion by the players.
