This is a fantastic story. Just more proof that the OU football program continues to recruit great football players who also happen to have great character off the field. No matter what happens in his future, Mr. Carter is an absolute champion in my book.

Amazing story...I am proud to root for a team with people like Q on it. I cant wait to see how he does in the future. This country and world needs more like him!

Never really thought about it until tonight...but man, Q really does lead with his head down a lot! Good way to get injured. Hope he doesn't.

Yes, he has to fix that head down tackling. It was scary watching the replay where he hit that guys hip and had to leave the game for a while. Those are the type of plays that are dangerous to the tackler. I also had to agree with the flag he got earlier; he clearly ducked his head and went helmet to helmet.

That was a great story. I wish more people who constantly rip our players would read this story. Over the years, OU, just like many colleges, produces many fine players who also happen to be terrific citizens. I think, too often, we look at football players as one dimensional and that they cease having meaning in our lives once they walk off the field.
