Travis Lewis is doing it again.

All this guy has done since he was a Freshman is lead this team in tackles and he is doing it again. He is aveaging 9.8 tackles per game with 59 through 6 games. That puts him on track to have another 140 tackle year if we play in the CCG + our bowl. What an amazing player this guy is. I hope he becomes our next Butkus Award winner and returns for his Sr year.

Slow Big 10 may be to your advantage. Maybe not? It'll be interesting to see where your O evolves after the conference change.

Apologize for dissin' on Travis. His consistency is outstanding. This team has young studs here and there, and over achievers all over the field. They lost five games last year.

They are starting to remind me of the 2000 bunch.

Cant believe Von Miller was named a Butkus Semi-finalist, he has been horrible this year. Its like they just put out a list based off of last year and then dont really re-assess it til the finalists are named.

Anyway, Lewis is a stud, more consistent than flashy but one hell of a player for sure

Yeah, alot of people around Omaha aren't very happy about the Texas debacle last week. I think it'll be interesting to see where the defense evolves as well, if the brothers Pelini continue to recruit the speed they have over the years on defense, or if they settle into a Big 10 plodding style of defense.
