Missouri has scheduled Oklahoma 15 times as a homecoming opponent, and holds an 8-6 record in those games.:pop: :-)

That's a cool statistic! Did you know Oklahoma scheduled Mizzou twice as a Big 12 Championship opponent and holds a 2-0 record in those games? :pop: :-)

:D I'm just having fun. You had to go against a Heisman winner when you played us those games... just like you'll be going against another tomorrow (knock knock)

That is very interesting.

Did you know that OU has won 72% of all games played against Mizzou?

07 - 38-17 OU

08 - 62-21 OU

You can do the math. :D

actually it's less than that since they don't play for a full 24 hours. Can you do the math on 2.5 quarters?

Not gonna make excuses for anybody on this board you should know what you are gonna get in here. You made a decent point but do you really think that any of those players care at all that it's homecoming. Homecoming is usually a distraction to the home team.

I for one am not sure how good we are and I don't think Mizzou has played enough good teams to know how good they are. To me, that just makes it a case of beer game instead of 12-pack day. I'm gonna need it either way.

Only if they spend one whole day playing football each week. That's alot of football.

You're one of those cool opposing fans. You should definitely NOT shut up after the game. You should stay around and have fun. We can make jokes about the hippie traitors in Boulder and the bugeater traitors in Lincoln. Need an avatar?

The reason the game was close in 07, Missouri was ranked #1.

It wasn't the 1990s when that occurred.

In fact, in the 1990s, OU went 7-1 against Missouri. The Sooners were 4-1 in Columbia in the 1990s. Overall OU owns a 65-24-5 record against Missouri.

However, I would like to request where TigersFan got his information, because every credible site I have visted when it comes to records between the two teams, hasnt shown which games were homecoming or not.

It's cool... a good way to fire up fans and play up both teams for this game... did anyone see pregame yesterday where one of the commentators tried to mention Demarco as a Heisman candidate and immediately getting talked over by Lou and Mark? Boo. Eff ESPN. Broadcast us on the Versus network next time, or better yet, that weird channel that has Mike Leach as the color guy :D

PS: I still think you need a cute tigers avvie to identify yourself as the resident Mizzou fan :)

Well, I dont go read blogs from ESPiN.

However, out of all the sources I get my information from, nothing shows homecoming matchups.

I wouldnt say it is incorrect, but I wouldnt say it is correct unless he could give his source of information.

I think n00bs are trolls who can't help themselves any longer when they sense any hint of smack talk.

Good luck to both teams this weekend staying injury-free, and to Oklahoma to execute perfectly. :P

Wow Mizzou has the last amount of conference championships of any Big 12 school, with a grand total of 6. (all sports)

There's absolutely no question that Mizzou is the conference underachiever, but they've made some good strides in the major sports that matter (basketball and football... in reverse score order)

Hell, Iowa State (I think) has more. Baylor (I think!) has more. I think Mizzou is the absolute least-winning member of the conference... but then again, if only counted the revenue sports (football, mens and womens basketball) it's a much tighter race to the bottom.

Nope....I had an anatomy exam at 12 and then went to the store to stock up on things for tomorrow.....my feelers are not hurt by any means. One thing about Mizzou sports is that we are really good at a lot of things, but not great at one thing.
