its called the swinging gate philosophy that coaches use just make sure the defense is playing attention. You line up like that and id the D dosnt adjust, you run the play, if they walk over and act like they are gonna cover, you just kick like always.

Lots of teams do that. They are making sure they match them or they will run it in for an easy 2. As long as the defense is there, they shift to the PAT. It is sound.

That's a pretty common lineup on special teams, the quick snap is called by the holder (Costa) if he sees the blocking line up to create a favorable one-on-one matchup. Oregon is just seemingly the only team with the ballz to actually do the quick snap. Most teams back out of it routinely.

I don't think they're as good as West Virginia was when we played them. I'd definitely take Pat White in the open field and WVU was a deceptively physical team with Schmitt. Much like WVU, the trick is whoever plays them needs to be sound and healthy on defense to have a shot. I don't like anybody in a shootout with them.

I don't think they will widen the human polls gap. More voters will take a good look at us after they notice the computers have us #1, I think and we'll get more votes + a win at Misery will also add to that; we'll widen the computers lead and close on the Humans IMO.

Our Defense has been good enough to help our Offense gain unsurmountable leads.

When to be honest we could've scored 35 on them easily. In the red zone receivers dropped passes, linemen didn't block to their capabilities. We should've kicked FGs too.

Let Oregon get a big head. We've been there before and then folded in crucial close games. I don't see OUr team panicking as they have in years past. Winning every game by 30+ is nice but doesn't get you ready for the big bowl games. This is one of the reasons I think the SEC teams have fared nicely in some BCS games in the past.

Impressive offense, but they are vulnerable on defense. USC, Washington at their best will hang offensively, Arizona must do it with D. Duck/Beaver rivalry usually goes to unerdog barring key injuries.

Stanford put 31 on them in the first half. 0 in the 2nd. UO has been very impressive on D in the 2nd half; they must make good adjustments.

It's misleading when a team plays UCLA. The Bruins are flat out incapable of having any sort of consistent passing game. The thing that gets overlooked in their upset of Texas is that they threw the ball NINE freaking times. Even with their #1 QB Prince out there they're a terrible passing team.

I dare say that the 3 Academies have better passing games than UCLA.
