I rooted for * on Saturday!!! I relished in the fact that they smacked the bugeater bitches back to reality.

I cheered hard for *, I even gave them props during the game :(

My hate for traitorous, crybaby, no heart, cowardous, fellation giving bugeaters got me.

Forgive me, fellow Sooners for I have sinned

I wish someone would do some definitive clinical research on the impact of some guy in his living room rooting for a specific college football team and the effect that ensues toward the outcome.

You didn't sin. I did the same thing because a Texas win bolsters our rating in the polls. As much as I hate the castrated steers, I hate the big 10 losers more.

Obviously, you don't read this board enough to realize its everything. Fans win and lose ball games based on who is being cheered for.

And all this time I thought it was the coaches fault.

Yes. I'm rooting for typewriters and stamps from my living room right now.

I really wanted to play an undefeated Nebraska for the last Big 12 championship as we know it.

had NU won, we might not be #1 in the BCS right now

I just hope you fans are not overlooking Mizzou..

Get your head straight, people!!! We got a game this weekend. No talk of BCS, no talk of ISU... Forget the strength of schedule stuff.

What's wrong with you??? ;) ;)

Maybe. But we would be #1 when we kick their *** in the Big 12 Championship game. That could have been a freakin' monster game!

Not so sure about that.
If we were #5 and Auburn were 3 or 4 and they win the SEC undefeated, and UO and bsu were to finish strong, Im not convenced we would jump them with a win over NU.
I much prefer we got to #1 now and win out. Gonna be hard for someone to jump us unless we play lke crap and 3,4,and 5 play stupendous.

The last time I rooted for * was in their 2004 rose bowl.

Then, the game of which we do not speak happened.

Draw your own conclusions.

I couldn't root for the Orange Cows, instead I rooted against the Cornies.A fine line but it ain't invisible.

I wasn't as dissapointed as I thought when the Horns started pulling away. Sure it would have been fun to see 3 losses in a row but I was getting tired of all the Cornpone hype. Beating the Horns this year made it easier to tolerate their win.

I offered to pull for the huskers if some of their fans sent me a small donation, but I guess they were too cocky. Finally, I got a couple of desperate paypal donations in the 4th qtr and I was able to conjure up the punt return, but it was too little too late. But that's only one data point, so far from clinical.

also, chance for victory is greatly enhanced by ALL fans standing & constant
yelling for entire game.
especially standing !!!

If you don't yell "Home of the Sooners", you are just asking for trouble.

I knew Tejas would win. Everything but the false hype and stupid predictions pointed toward it. Mack doesn't have to have a championship-caliber team to still win a lot of games every year. Hell, he's had three what I would call great teams in his 13 years at Tejas and he still wins 10 or more each year. Pelini has proven nothing more than to do somewhat better than Callahan. Martinez is not a complete quarterback yet, just a guy who played a bunch of ragdoll defenses who couldn't stop a simple zone-read. When you corral him in the pocket and make him actually play the quarterback position, NOT wildcrap formation, he's too green to beat a defense like Texas. Combine that with NU's stonehands, and you've got a team OSU may drill this weekend as well.
