you gotta be regretting letting Cam Newton go to Auburn. Newton has carried AU to No. 4 in the BCS, despite the fact the AU defense is horrible.
Meanwhile, back down at Auburn, the 6-foot-6, 250-pound Newton kept rolling on. Newton finished the day against Arkansas with 188 yards on the ground and 140 more passing. You could practically see the Heisman scales tipping one dual-threat QB up while the other side of the scale sank mid-afternoon Saturday. Newton ran for three TDs of 5, 1 and 3 yards, distances that usually indicate "hard" yards as the Tigers overwhelmed the 12th-ranked Hogs, 65-43. In the past two games, Newton has carried the ball 53 times, putting the Tigers' offense on his back, and he only seems to be getting stronger.
"Even when you have guys there, he breaks the tackles," said Hogs coach Bobby Petrino. "He's also fast and big and can really run the ball. He's just a really good player."
