Directv Apps

have any of you yahoos messed with these? I found them by accident - you can download applications like on an iphone.....you can get twitter and/or facebook updates that pop up on your tv....weather, earthcam...etc. i haven't found any yet that cost extra yet...we'lll see.

I just had DirectTV installed and immediately downloaded the app for Android onto my phone. I was able to set up a recording with it. Pretty cool.

The only one that I have used is the NFL Sunday Ticket ap for the iPhone. It worked pretty well when AT&T has service in the area.

Brat, I just figured out what you mean...actual apps on DirectTV. I'm checking them out now to see if there's anything I want, since I don't do Facebook or care about the NFL. Hopefully there will be something I'll like. :)
