We are doomed. No way we beat Mizzou. We are way to talented and over staffed with blue chippers to pull off a road win like that.

It wouldn't shock me to lose next Saturday, but here's the deal . . .

Get by Missouri and we're unbeaten heading to Stillwater. We won't lose to Colorado or Tech at home, A&M has proven to be bad (even at Kyle Field) and there's no way we lose at Baylor.

So beat Mizzou and this is, at worse, a one-loss regular season.

I can't wait for Saturday. Heard its gonna be a night game. Don't know if my nerves are gonna hold up on Saturday waiting for the game to start. Guess I'll just have to toss back some beers to distract myself until gametime.

We're most likely gonna beat 'em twice again.

I actually wouldn't doubt that. If the cornholers play em like they played tejas, it will be OU-Mizzou again in the Big 12 title game. I wouldn't mind that.

eATMe has an annoying habit of playing like an NFL team every time we come to Kyle Field.

This time they'd be further apart right? I may be thinking of something else, but wasn't the Missouri game more towards the end the season the year we played 'em twice?

At some point doesn't Mizzou's historical bad luck (5th Down, Flea Kicker etc) have to even itself out against some poor unsuspecting team? That's what always scares me about Mizzou.

2007 - 10/13 and 12/1

OU is 19-1 against Mizzou since 1984 with Boo bringing in the one loss.

If OU isn't playing in Norman, it's a road game.

OU/Texas is incredibly hostile and loud and what about the Cincy game? I don't care if they played in Bengal stadium, that was a road game.

It's like people have to make up **** to worry about.

That's because we get everyone's best effort.

I have no expectations, I haven't had any since the Utah State game. We should win, but Alabama should have beaten the team that lost to Kentucky yesterday.

It's college football, it doesn't come with a guarantee.

We can lose any of those games.

Listening to some of the Aggies that I know they think it might become another Floyd Casey Stadium. They expect there to be a large number of Sooner fans in the stands because the Aggie fan base is jumping ship this season...and that was before yesterdays loss.

I'm still shocked that they kept Sherman on as HC this year. That says a lot right there. He sucks worse than his wife I bet.

And we always get their best shot. The OU game will be a bowl game to them, so expect the unexpected.

Missouri comes into this game with a resume somewhat like what the nebbish brought into their game against sa*et. They were undefeated and looked like world beaters in the process and then got exposed.

From a post in the score prediction thread:

Tiger opponents

Illinois (3-3) beat Northern Illinois and Southern Illinois (they are state champions!) and Penn State in Happy Valley (A big win but tempered by this report: One of Joe Paterno's team physicians told him this week that the Nittany Lions' current injury situation was the worst he had seen in his 24 years in the program)

McNeese St. (2-4) beat Lamar and Northwestern St. (whoever they are) and scored 10 points in a 32-10 loss to LSU.

San Diego St. (4-2) beat Nichols, New Mexico St., Utah State 41-7, inexplicably lost to BYU but then beat Air Force.

Miami OH (4-3) beat both Eastern and Central Michigan (no doubt, Western Michigan is glad they aren't on the schedule), Kent St. and Colorado St.

Colorado (3-3) wins over CSU, Hawaii and Georgia (possibly saved The Hawk's job with this one).

Texas A&M (3-3) three wins over hapless opponents, three losses in a row to OSU, Arkansas and Mizzou.

Combined opponents record: 19-18 (Sooner opponents are 22-16)

Tigers have given up 211 yards passing/game and 117 yards rushing/game.

Besides being 6-0, their claim to fame is being second among FBS teams in scoring defense at 10.8 ppg.

The biggest stat as far OU is concerned, the game is in Columbia.

I like our chances from here on out, the offense is clicking now even better with Landry really getting it done and the young guys stepping up. The defense which started out shaky is really playing better now as well with the young guys getting adjusted. We should barring any strange injuries or such get through unbeaten.

Not enough big money people wanted him gone to execute a buyout....it may be a different thing after this season.

Of course we could lose next week. We could lose any one of our remaining games. But we wont. If texa$$ can go into Lincoln and whip the cornholes, we can do the same in Columbia. OUr team has the talent and this year we also have some depth. Just need to bring it from here on out.

There ain't a damn team in the big XII that can hang with use when we are running on all cylinders. Landry is looking good. We have depth at running back and the D is a force.
