The way he dove over the goal line to tie the record was very reminiscent of so many of Steve Owens' touchdowns. Made me wonder if he did that as a tribute to Steve. Probably not, but it was a cool coincidence.

I think Wilson is stating the truth. Might not be the best time to give that statement, but hard to argue against it. Plus, I think he's trying to highlight the fact that it's a team sport. Demarco isn't scoring all those touchdowns without the other 10 guys doing their jobs.

I agree it's not the same deal as pure running backs like Owens and Sims. But DM is a great example of the modern player that has to be good in the passing game too. A great accomplishment for DM, and doesn't diminish what Owens and Sims on run first teams.
