Nathan Followill: "It's Mack Brown's last season..."

In case you missed it, Nathan Followill, drummer for Kings of Leon (a hip rock band all the kiddies like that's filled with die-hard sooner fans) was the guest picker on ESPN Gameday and when asked for his pick for Texas-Nebbish, threw the big horns-down and said:

"Nebraska all the way, baby. It's Mack Brown's last season and I feel bad he's losing so many games, but, Martinez is gonna thump'em for sure."

He had a nice OU helmet up there from the gameday crew, and also said he'd pick a women's school against OSU.

I mtssed Natan's intro,so I was wondering who he was ,he looked familiar But I couldn't place him.I heard him say he was from Tennessee but was a big OU fan.The part about as an OU fan he would pick a women"s team to beat osu made me laugh.

Didn't see it, but I'm sure the guy was just popping off. Say the subpar yr for tex continues. Even if Mack were so inclined to leave, I imagine he'd stick because of his pride.

LoL I heard the women's school pick over OSU from the other room and I ran into to see who said it. I heard them say Nathan but I had no idea who the dude was.

I am young to have purchased tickets for Kings of Leon :D But old enough they were for my kids :(
