Good lord. Iowa State is beyond terrible.
Not just this year, but for all time.
5 wins versus OU since 1926.
Would anyone blame them if they just forfeited the game?
If Bill Snyder wanted to cement his status as living fossil, er legend, he oughta go to Ames and make the Clones a powerhouse.
Holy moly they iz baaaaaad.

They've had some good teams recently when Seneca Wallace was there. They have also gave us some close games up there and just blew out Tech. We should win handily but you just never know.

Yeah I thought they ran off their coach prematurely.
The Seneca Wallace game was epic. Cold wet and a stomping.

The blocked punt set the tone and the rout was on.

The last time we lost to them was in 1990 in Norman. We didn't exactly crush them the last time we played in Ames either. 17-7 IIRC.

ISU's record since 2000

2000 9-3
2001 7-5
2002 7-7
2003 2-10
2004 7-5
2005 7-5
2006 4-8
2007 3-9
2008 2-10
2009 7-6

Yes, isu was also in the top 10 for the fist time in a LONG time & Seneca was a Heisman candidate so they brought a bunch of fans........who ended up leaving early. They haven't been significant ever since so that was a beat down in more ways than one!

I was at that game, and will never forget it. We killed many potential Heiman candidates dreams that year.

I remember that too. Didn't one of the ISU players try to kick it out of the endzone or something and whiffed?

Which teams are the most feared in the country? Those that are winless, because no one wants to be the first to lose to them.

ISU isn't winless, but we had better take ISU seriously, because if we lose to them... shudder.

(And yes, we could very well lose to them.)

HEY!! Craig James will vote us #1 if we beat them. This is a very important game!

Ah hell, he's gonna vote TacoTech #1 if Tooberville plays Adam 50% of the snaps

Might be some truth to this.

No he won't, because if Adam gets 50 percent of the snaps that means he really should have gotten 100 :D

Or are you counting the entire game and not just the offensive plays?

Eff it - he'd probably complain that Adam wasn't out as a cornerback on defense in addition to wide receiver... you know, so that Adam can be like that Deion Sanders guy

And yeah, Iowa State sucks, but they nearly beat Sammie and the boys a few years back when we visited Ames... ooo, some epic-level melting here before that game was over
