Didn't their "football team" inspire the original hang half a hundred in the first half quote?

With their best QB ever Seneca Wallace, whom we were supposed to have fits handling, coverage broke away at the start of the 2nd half when we were up 49-0.

That's not embarrassing, that's AWESOME! Embarrassing would be pointing out that they're no Tejas. They're not even as good as OSU. That'll ruddy the ol' cheeks.

The Craigslist ad looking for a conference back in June was 100% pure, unadulterated velvet. Wish I had taken a screenshot before it was flagged.

Anyone with Moderator under their name. That one doesn't attract my attention 'cause they're still at least mostly clothed and they've got an OU on them. And LB has been here for a while.

In 2002, Seneca Wallace came into Norman as the front-runner for the Heisman. He completed four passes to his team, three to the Sooners and ran for negative 28 yards. Heisman candidate, Iowa State, LOL.

isu actually brought fans that year, including a student dressed as the heisman... basically head to toe in gold paint

I believe they dropped their baseball program a few years ago so their Ath. Dept. could pay the raises they had negotiated for Men's BB coach Eustachy (sp?) and FB coach McCarney.

I remember the fan covered in gold paint. ISU brought it and failed.

They fired their best coach Dan McCartney, and since then the best season they've had was a 7-6 season last year.

I'll never forget the day Seneca Wallace took the field in Norman. It was chilly and rain fell in sheets the whole game. Their fans were so excited about Wallace you would have thought they were attending their first no-shirt contest in Daytona Beach. They are awesome fans, imagine traveling from Ames to Norman to watch your team line up against the Sooners.

Before the game they were all telling us how we didn't know what we were getting into. The week before was when he made his most famous highlight run in their victory against Mexas Tech.

Of course the game went as has been posted and ended up 49-3. I think it was the only time I have ever felt bad for visiting fans. I thought they were going to tip their heads back and drown in the rain.

Wallace was good and is still on a NFL Roster. The Sooner D that year was just a bit better, to say the least.
