I use to get angry with Bob Stoops for being so conservative when it comes to punting downs. We always go with punt protection rather than pursuing the kick. But after seeing so many teams get extra opportunities to run their offense after roughing the kicker is called, I believe Stoops is doing the right thing. I've seen so many teams this year make a great defensive stand and instead of getting the ball back, they aggressively pursue the punter and miss the ball and knock the punter down to get a 15 yard penalty. Yet another reason why I need to stop second guessing Bob Stoops.
