I HATE it when they do that. To the point that I call the local affiliate to complain. It makes it so that there is no possible way to watch the scheduled game on your tv.

If you wanted to watch the USC/Stanford game, you could get gameplan and watch it.

If you wanted to watch the FSU/Miami game, you just watch it on ABC. FSU/Miami will be blacked out on gameplan but as long as it's on ABC, no problem.

When ABC cuts away to show USC/Stanford, you now can not watch FSU/Miami because it will remain blacked out on gameplan... You actually now have TWO channels showing USC/Stanford and NONE showing FSU/Miami.


Now, I'm a little more tolerant of an issue with ABC vs gameplan since gameplan is another package that most people don't pay for (still think it's ****ing stupid). However, I've seen them do this with games that are ABC vs ESPN such that you now have the same game on ABC and ESPN. What is the point in that?
