Well officially they say the "orange" is a combination of the orange and red, and it reflects the color seen in an Oklahoma sunset. Kinda gay, but I like the Thunder colors and the orange is just an accent color anyways.

i'm still upset at our blue/orange color scheme and logo. WHY DIDN'T THEY USE THE BLACK AND GOLD MOCKUPS THAT WERE FLOATING AROUND THE INTERNET? they looked really slick, and no team in the NBA is black and gold while like half the league is blue... oh well i still love them
