I remember one night back in the mid-80s, I was in the passenger seat of this Camaro being driven by the son of a prominent Norman physician at a very high rate of speed down Chautauqua Ave. Somewhere between Lindsay and Imhoff, the car hit a curb and we went airborne for a second before coming down nose first in some guy's yard.

My freshman physics class had 800+ students. If you were late to class, you stood outside and watched a TV monitor. (This was back in the late 1970s where online info was not to be found.)

The instructor was a Nobel Prize winner. I saw him maybe twice during the semester.
