and while chit-chatting, I casually mentioned I heard on NPR this morning that this week is the week of the most birthdays in the US and Oct. 5 is No. 1, based on national live birth stats compiled since the early 20th century. She remarked, "yesterday was my birthday." Freaky!

And for the record, the above statistic could mean Thanksgiving turkey is an aphrodisiac.

That is all.

I suggest it means the Big XII Championship game is an aphrodisiac.:D

I know, on one level, statistically, I guess it was to be expected. But to have this lady gasp, "yesterday was MY birthday," was still kinda wierd.

Homey, you listen to NPR? NPR sucks. really. it's collaborationist radio.

My mom's B-Day is Oct. 10. btw.

that explains it. though i have no idea what "it" is.

i'd rather listen to "Easy Listening Favorites from the 80's" on Clear Channel than NPR.

i respect you for doing it, i guess. when the gourmet coffee prices are going up trumps as an interpretation of global politics and real international news like crazy horrible stuff in the nation of Congo I guess NPR is for real. :)

it's always about the coffee on NPR. Coffee, and some novelist talking about how she turned her father's misattention at the Vermont country home into an important novel. and somehow, she moves from age 9 to 45 without ever mentioning she had a job. with a lot of duck sounds in the background and cello music.

viva la resistance at NPR.

i'd rather eat out my own eyeballs or admit that Bill Favor was right about the Fairness Doctrine than listen to NPR.

"Welcome to the Resistance"---Kenny PowersThe Regime knows that the Fairness Doctrine is more of a trip-wire than lots of the other socialist crap they've already done...but, it ain't over til they're gone.

My dad's birthday was the 4th. On a semi-related note, my birthday is about 9 months after my dad's...

If more women would just PIITB this wouldn't be such a big deal. Notice that Halloween is the last day of Oct too.
