My Mother ,God rest her Houston born soul.I became an OU fan at age nine and didn't really know much about OU.My Mom bought me my first book about OU football when I was about 12,I fell in love with the history and tradition and became a hardcore Sooner.I now have somewhewre around 35 books on OU football.

I actually don't have a problem with Texas as a state, just UT and the ****** attitude put forth by many who live in the state. Grew up there, would live there again, but only in select areas.

Couldn't have put it better, except that I didn't grow up in Tejas. I don't know what it is with that 'attitude' but I see a similar thing with many people from Cali and NY too so I don't really see it as unique to Tejas. Just that Tejans put their own flavor to it.
