UT unranked is funny

Obviously being undefeated and beating a mediocre Texass team, doesn't mean much these days.

Much closer than the AP poll. Whorns are voted the 26th team and only a few points in back of #25 but well ahead of #27, Air Force (who in my opinion should be ranked higher than sa*et).

I'll be honest. I have a bad feeling that even if we win out, it won't be enough. :(

There's a log jam ahead of us. Gonna take some upsets to move ahead.

Oregon jumped Boise, that is so good for us. This now means the voters don't really care about Boise, as much as must think they did.

Oregon will lose a game. Hopefully to USC. Ohio St still has 2 tough games on the road, @ Wisconsin and @ Iowa

We probably have the hardest remaining schedule. @Mizzou, @A&M, and @Ok St.

If only unbeaten teams are still in the mix for the BCS (17 are still something and 0) and none of them lose to a team with a loss then . . .

Games featuring unbeatens:

Oct. 7 Nebraska @KSU
Oct. 9 Mich. St. @Michigan
Oct. 23 LSU @Auburn
Oct. 23 Mich. St. @Northwestern
Oct. 23 Nebraska @OSU
Oct. 23 OU @Missouri
Oct. 30 Missouri @Nebraska
Oct. 30 OSU @KSU
Nov. 6 Alabama @LSU
Nov. 6 TCU @Utah
Nov. 13 KSU @Missouri
Nov. 26 Auburn @Alabama
Nov. 26 Arizona @Oregon
Nov. 27 Michigan @Ohio State

AP voters like Boise a lot more than the Coaches Poll voters like Boise. The computers like Boise a lot less than the Coaches.

The AP can do whatever the hell they want too.

As long as the coaches and computers don't.

All it will take is 1 loss by Nevada to anyone other than Boise for the computers to like Kansas more than Boise.

yep. I'm an anti Nevada fan now

I'd say there is a 60% chance that tOsu will lose to Iowa or Wisconsin.

Some of the coaches haven't realized Phloriduh has a new QB. ;)

Because we didn't lose at home by 24 and our starting QB and reigning Heisman winner had been injured. Texas just sucks.

You guys worry about ghosts. The 98% challenge is the teams remaining on OUr schedule with the remaining 2% being teams ahead of us in the polls. This is similar to all the Boise angst a few weeks ago and they have no one left to play and the ducks have already jumped. An undefeated big12 champ would jump them to. But it's really, really hard to win them all and I don't see the Ducks or tOSU (or OU, sigh) doing it.

I tend to agree with you here. Just like Oregon was headed to the MNC a few years ago. Then snap goes the ACL of Dennis Dixon and its wide open again. Anybody here whats up with Pryor for tOSU? He left the game against Illinois and his back up sucked out loud.

Pryor came back, but tOSU didn't look very good against a bad Illinois team. They have a good D and will be in every game, but are very suspect on offense. Stanford moved at will on the Ducks as did ASU the week before. I wouldn't be surprised if USC beats them since that will be the closest thing to a "bowl" game they get this year.

Seems like a lot of us are forgetting, or at least not mentioning Meatchicken.....they're a MUCH better team this year than in a long time.......tOSU has not only the road game in Wisconsin and Iowa but they still have to play the Rich Rod knuckle heads that could be a serious game this year.....

Living a whole 15 miles from Ann Arbor I can assure you that the Michigan defense couldn't stop Betty White from running the ball down the field at will.

Yeah, Michigan's defense is going to cost them some games. Shoelaces is fun as hell to watch, though.
