4 close losses in 2009.
4 close wins in 2010.

we have to make it the rest of the way on our own.

I get it, but we've outplayed everyone we've played over the course of four quarters. There were no flukes. We made mistakes and the other team has made mistakes.

The players earned it, imo, and we should give them credit.

Very few injuries. No mistakes that cost us a game. Landry got really close to letting the whorns have a shot but with all his might he battled to just flick that ball out of bounds so that it didn't get to the whorn offense or get run into the EZ. After that....Tress kicked the crap out of that punt and the whorns choked again.

Great game....great ending....

Mistakes?

More by mackster and his bunch IMO. They are a good team with potential and shouldn't be taken lightly by Nebraska IMHO. Texas winning out from here is good for us.

When Landry fumbled, and swatted it out, and Murray pushed it out.... we would have not got that last year. something weird would have happened. it would have been kicked the other direction.

I'd say the football gods have begun to make small installments but only chipping away at interest and have a ways to go on principal. I'd say Sooner Magic has rejoined us and contributed more than the football gods. But it's a start.

I'm not going to feel repaid until we see OUr team back to it's dominant days, injury free and able to play a BCS MNC game full-strength. We've been "lucky" in some peoples' eyes (like the '08 three-way tie fiasco), but we have not been lucky where we need to be to achieve the program's ultimate goal.

A few close W's ain't all were owed... :D
