Let the eating of the young begin.

I'm sorry but GG is not a good QB. I don't care what people say about the O-Line or youth. Any good QB that is worth a damn can feel pressure and get rid of a damn ball. He has yet to do that all year and his inability to do so has cost us a lot of yards on offense. I truly believe he is NOT the QB of the future and I will probably get a ton of crap for that but it's true.

This has to be one of the most undisciplined teams I've seen in long time. If Muschamp can't keep a reign in on one side of the ball, what school thinks he's going to do it on both sides?

This is the worst offense I"ve seen since the days of Fred Akers.

We are really, really bad on offense.

Why are other teams so much smarter than ours? Its frustrating!

Greg Davis is so f******* stupid. Why Mack is so loyal to him is beyond me.

Their offense is better than Texas' offense. Hell Baylor's offense is better than Texas' offense.

We're looking at 4 to 5 losses this year, guys.

I wouldn't be so sure that a bowl is in the cards for us this year. Baylor totally pantsed Kansas today, and I'm not sure we're that much better than Kansas right now. Unless things improve in a hurry, I think we go down to Nebraska, K-State, Okie Lite, aggy, and as much as I hate to say it - Baylor.

This may be the year Robert Griffin comes to Austin and leads the mighty Baylor Bears over the Horns.

I will send $1000 toward the registration fee to send Greg Davis to a coach's clinic where they will teach him the use of the vertical passing game down the middle as part of an offensive game plan.

Who all, before the season started, thought our D would hold us in games, because of Muschamp, and our Defensive talent? I was one. Now I am begging to Mack, PLEASE,PLEASE, don't let him become head coach!! His NFL talented defense can't stop ANYONE!!

This game pretty much summarizes our season to this point: pisspoor offensive playcalling (at least until we were in a big hole), a frankly overrated defense that was unprepared for the opposition, special teams ****ups, and penalties out the wazzu.

We are what we look like--not a very good team, coached by a not very good staff.

We can onlty hope that with a bad enough yr. gd will throw in the towel at 60+ yrs. of age and retire his fat, slovenly, unimaginative, incompetent *** outta here

Texas is about to receive their worse loss of the season against Nebraska. I expect NU to run up the score if they are in a position to do so. I don't think three consecutive losses means the losing is over for us. Kansas State is another big problem. A loss to Oklahoma State can't even be ruled out.

Davis cannot coach a pro style offense. It has been proved in the past. He MUST have a running QB, to overcome his play calling flaws! Applewhite, Simms, was good, but not great. GG will be the same. I have been watching Texas ball since '70, and this is the worst use of talent on both sides of the ball I have seen!!

A thousand dollars to anyone that can name whatever it is kind of offensive scheme/[censored] we're trying to execute...

I am completely befuddled. But probably less so than our coaching staff.

Now, now guys. Our plays weren't all sideways.
A few were backwards.

:D I just came back from the Horns board and to their credit, I had to look really hard to find anyone who said, "Texas gave the game to them" or "The refs screweld us with all the bad calls". I could only find one such comment.

Just not much of that going on over there to be honest. Doesn't mean someone won't say it later though.

They're not the only ones upset about OU winning. Live on Texags talking about Oklahoma schools beating Texas schools this week:

We both lost to Oklahoma schools with stolen players that were born Texan.

Both teams are made of Texas players. I would have thought kids from Texas would have some respect for their state, but they really don't.
Sad. The HS coaches don't really talk it up at all either.

Looks like (gulp) TCU really is the best team in Texas. What a disgrace.

If this really bothers them, rather than blame the players for leaving, blame themselves for not being good enough for their own state's kids. :)

Besides... sometimes kids like to see what's out there besides texas state arrogance after years of enduring it as kids

We should start scheduling UT either right before or right after the RRS. By the time we play them in late October/November, ol' Butter Teef usually has his system worked out, to our disadvantage.

If you are new to the college football thing, basically when a fan can't get wins of his or her own through his or her team, fans will live vicariously through other teams, hoping beyond hope that somebody else will beat the teams that they cannot.

Alas, they clearly still would rather live vicariously through Texas than us

I looked through the Baylor message board for anything interesting... they have about as many empty seats at that message board as they did on their televised game at home... and they all know how stupid it is and readily admit that when they have a player like Robert Griff 3, they should be showing up to games to watch him while they can.

As for Tech boards... this has nothing to do with our game, but you all might enjoy this thread, entitled "I admit it...we suck." (http://mbd.scout.com/mb.aspx?s=188&f=1650&t=6465991) :D

The field according to Greg Davis.
http://www.digitaljihad.com/images/FIELD.JPG

i realize there are probably no plays in the playbook that are designed to pick up 21 yards, as i seriously doubt that there are plays in the playbook to pick up more than 7 yards, but **** YOU MACK AND DAVIS! **** BOTH OF YOU!

Baylor ****ing worries me

Iowa State is beating Tech right now, so that "accomplishment" is looking a little tarnished.

I hope we lose every ****ing game here on out if it means a regime change.

Nick Saban verbally ripped his punter a new one and looked like he was about to go William Wallace all over his *** for shanking a punt - with Alabama up by 24.
Don't ****ing tell me "clapping" is just a meaningless habit. I don't care whether he claps or tap dances.
Just get some NLAA or get someone to do it with some of these players.

Hey, Greg Davis has won a skillion games (90 percent against ****ty outmanned teams) at Texas, North Carolina, McNeese State and Florida School for Porn Addicts. Quit bitching about him.

Every time they showed a replay from behind our offense, and OU was in a Tampa 2, their safeties would just ****ing sit there, while every single person on our goddamn offense went in some direction that was not towards them. It was sickening to watch these replays where the safeties just ****ing sit there, like, "**** man, Im getting tired of standing here. I want some action."

Greg Davis must DIE!

Im sick and ****ing tired of it being 3rd and 3+ AFTER completing two passes.

GD is to blame, and he is not good enough to be the OC at The Western Alaska Community College for Triple Amputees and/or Shaved Midgets.

We are going to get skull ****ed by Nebraska.

I boldly predicted victory against OU. I probably won't be doing that again until we play Iowa State.

oh jesus christ mother mary and joseph. SHUT THE **** UP. we will be lucky to finish 7 and 5 this year. Bunch of punks on defense and no leadership or talent on offense (besides monroe)

OK, well then Rice is our signature win

Jesus christ, Iowa State scored forty ****ing five on Tech?

Iowa State put 3 TDs more on Tech than us. Haha GD

So basically their board doesn't understand coordinators aren't playing the game either.

This is such a stupid argument. If the coaches have the players in position to succeed and they don't then it's poor execution. When a coach and team becomes stupidly predictable it's hard to succeed.

This is a recurring theme with this program over the past few years. Get a lead and just become predictable and try to hang on to the win. Look back and see how many cheap touchdowns the defense has given up at the end of games, look at offensive production. Buddy this aint because of the players. The players have changed the the results remain the same.

I don't remember Davis getting an offside, pass interference, and a holding call called on him. I also don't remember him fumbling a punt, missing a tackle or dropping a pass.

UT lost, plain and simple. Luckily for him, OU tried everything to give the game to them in the 4th quarter but they suck so bad this year, that they refused to except the OU gift. Honestly, the score should have been a lot worse if not for idiocy in the 4th quarter by the Sooners.

Also, if we have any FG kicker at all, the score is 34-20 at best for the horns.

^^^ This. By the way, WTF did he keep scribbling with that gay orange pen on his little pad of paper every time they f*cked up? Grocery list???

To be charitable, I suspect he's writing notes to talk about stuff at halftime or after the game. He is 59...and with the mistakes being made Saturday, it'd be fairly hard for anybody to remember it all. My guess, anyway.

I don't really know about a cow meltdown, but I'm just wondering whether Fred Akers had a winning record against OU.

Greg Davis has been a meadoker OC for years he has just had great playmakers to help cover up that fact. He can not take a ok offense and make them great he is not that guy and will never be that guy. We all know that he is macks best friend and that is why he is still our OC. If mack wont grow some balls and care about his team more than his friendship. Then mabey the school should offer Greg some high up job in the athletic department i mean we know hes loyal to texas and bleeds orange and all that but he has plain and simple lost his edge. The game has passed him bye. He does not have the guts or inventiveness to be the OC for The Texas Longorns. I mean when did we become A&M OR OU and just start excepting losses. And ya i said losses cause we all know if he dont get his head out of his *** and throw the god damn ball down field and stop being so ****ing conservitive it will be losses. What hurts is we have one of the great offensive minds in major just begging for a shot and mack wont go against his friendship to give him one.Oh ya and its 9 13 and OU still sucks. Hook Em Horns

So this is a typical graduate UT fan...

Some of the horns are getting a kick out of "meadoker" too. That is one of the suggested names for the offense they are running.

Wow - Just Wow.
In addition, I want to be the one to tell him that it is already "losses".

Does anyone know Fred Akers record against OU?

From another thread, at sa*et, Akers went 4-5-1 vs. OU. However, he was also the coach at Wyoming in the Fiesta Bowl the year before, won by OU so his composite score is 4-6-1.

From the previous post, I wonder what makes the whorns think Major Applewhite has this great offensive mind, anyway? I know that he is revered as one of their great players but what has he done to indicate he is ready to take over play-calling?
