We have as good a Team as anyone out there IMO. Remember....tejas was ranked quite high until they lost to UCLA at Home. They still are a good team and we are gonna take them down today. The whorns had every reason in the World to come out today and give it everything they had to try and protect a one loss schedule and try and get past us to win the Big XII South and possibly another shot at a MNC.

It's not so much that I saw it coming. I just assumed that since that kind of stuff has worked on us with disturbing consistency, that we were ready no matter what they did. When the play developed, I was sure we read it expectantly and would stop them for 0 yards or less. And it wasn't terribly defended. I actually don't think the guy made it, though that doesn't matter now. But it's hard to see how any fake punt/FG/kickoff/etc... should ever work against a prepared team, i.e. us. Oh well. 5-0 is better anything-L. So we just gotta accept it and hope this team is better prepared next time.

I reviewed it on the DVR and I still don't think we were fooled. They just dialed up the right play and executed. We didn't expect a sweep by a bruiser back and Wort wasn't quite big enough to stop him short. I'd been upset if I thought we weren't ready. I still think if they just left their offense in the game and run the same sweep, they have a decent shot at picking up 3.

Since the end of the play was airborne, there is no way a review is going to change the spot. I was just glad to see Wort wasn't fooled and sprinted to the RB w/o hesitation. If he could get a solid shoulder into the RB, they come up short.

Yeah... the delay of game took the wind out of the fake field goal sails. They should have aborted as soon as the flag flew and just took their chances on a long FG. Wouldn't have given Tejas any different a momentum swing.
