Damn things are still good but $8.00? Really?

The Comet II roller coaster...we put our two kids on...they didn't want to go a 2nd time. $16.00 for them both to ride it though....so I'm relieved they didn't want another ride....lol

Corn dogs were decent. The Debs Pineapple Whip was really good. Dressed to Kill (Kiss coverband) brought back some old memories. The kids got to see the Gene Simmons look alike spit fire and wag his tongue. Those guys are OK but they don't have long IMO to keep that act going.

Anyway...there was some pretty good deals in the Expo Building.

If you go...don't expect decent parking if you go at 8pm. Find the shuttle and take it from the Tulsa Education Service Center at New Haven and 31st Street.

Got a free room from Hard Rock Casino but they are only good for Sunday through Wednesday in October and Sunday through Thursday in November. Nice promotion though. We're gonna figure out our schedule and take em up on a few of those freebies soon.

Seemed like not very many aggies were cruising near the barn area this year. I think they think their National Championship is upon them now....lol

What a coincidence. Earlier this week, I bought a 3-pack of turkey legs (about $5.00). I salt and peppered, covered then in a baking dish with aluminum foil and baked about 4 hours at 325, with the foil removed the last hour. I just ate the last one, with some hummus and carrot sticks for my pre-game meal.
