Best Pubs/Bars near Cotton Bowl

Just got to Dallas for the game and haven't been here in a long time. What are some of the best pubs/bars to hang out at? I prefer the bars which focus on drinking/atmosphere as opposed to any that resemble the clubs on Jersey Shore.

There was some hepatitis-filled bar near the CB, Adair's? maybe...anyway, I sat down and saw a message hand written on the wall. It said, simply..."We put the border patrol on the wrong river." I laughed then and I laugh now, mainly because it actually turned out to be true.

Coolest place south of I-30. It's just a couple miles west of Cotton Bowl.
