Okay - we got to watch a lot of quality football yesterday along with some worthless pad the budget games. So how do the Sooner stack up:
1) Bama - Legit #1
2) TOSU - Quality win against the U, but the last two weeks have been HS games. Legit top 5???
3) BSU - We have to see how VT and OSU pan out. If they go undefeated, it will be hard to keep a team that is undefeated in two seasons out of the title game. Legit top 5? Yes.
4) TCU - Good, if they keep winning, should roll into another BCS bowl. Legit top 5???
5) UO - Talented, should be a strong contender in the Pac-10. Good road win at ASU. Legit top 5???
6) Nebbish - Total over-hyped pretender. Easy to rack up big offensive stats against lower tier teams.
7) Texass - BWAHHHHHH could easily lose 4 this year. Looks like a carbon copy of the 09 Sooners - solid D, but very inconsistent O.
8) OKLAHOMA - A lot of potential that needs to continue to improve. Doing many things good, but not consistently great. Legit 6 - 12 at this point. Through 4, it's doubtful that this team will be Title game worthy.
9) UF - Too soon to tell - SOS thus far clouds the crystal ball.
10) HOG U - Legit top 10, stood toe to toe with Bama.
11) Uof W - good win in the desert. Otherwise, schedule has been weak. Should get rolled in Big X and will likely finish somewhere between 25-18.
12) Cocks - Tough road loss at emerging Auburn. Legit 20 -12.
Hmmm, at this point, Sooners are probably ranked about right. Need a strong October and more consistent play to be a legit Top 5.
