gilbert the grape gets hammered all day long. ut's offensive line gets manhandled like usual. whorn receivers are scared of going across the middle and meeting the new "Q" and drop 14 different passes. trey millard takes a handoff and gets run out of bounds and smashes "boom m'fer" to the ground in a giant heap, and then yells "boom m'fer" to his stupid face. ryan broyles catches a dropped interception from blake gideon and takes it to the house and throws the upside down hook 'em to all the empty seats on that ugly *** burnt orange side. tress way kicks a punt so far it smacks the ut band director in the head and knocks him out, thus rendering the band useless and saves everyone from hearing their "i've been working on the railroad" of a fight song. oh yeah, and demarco jumps over jackson jeffcoat en route to an 80 TD. It will be a defensive struggle throughout, and if anybody thinks either team is going to give up 30 + pts you're crazy. UT's offense is playing god awful, and I don't see much changes.

Couple points of analysis:

1) We have not outscored our opponents in the 4th Q in any of the four games this seasons (have been outscored in all 3 games and tied AF 0-0).
2) Minus TX's performance against UCLA they are a dominating defense (see Texas Tech)
3) Our defense looks pedestrian
4) Landry has yet to win a "huge" game in his career and can't seem to stay consistent on drives over 8 plays.
5) TX has won 4 out of last 5 RRS.

I hope I am wrong, but I think we may be one of the most mediocre 4-0 teams out there.

I met Matthew McConaughey on a flight tonight from LA to San Jose. As we were getting off of the plane, I asked him what the score would be Saturday. He said 27-24. I said Oklahoma? He grinned and shook his head no.

Anyway, he was a class act from check-in until waiting for bags to be brought from the Eagle flight to the jet bridge. He was very gracious to anyone who spoke to him and just seemed to be enjoying life.

I travel a lot and have set next to many celebs including Emmit Smith and Deon Sanders. That said, McConaughey and Dick Vermeil are the probably the most gracious I've encountered.

And, my score?? OU BIG!!! UT little. Let's go 42 -7.
