Yes, but on the depth chart he's listed as J. Nelson's backup @ strong safety.
Plays nickel now, but after Nelson and Q graduate, he'll move permanently to saferty I would imagine. He's already got the size.

I've heard that comparison here at SF, but to my knowledge, that was the first TRRW comparison from the coaching staff.

Roy is Oklahoma's version of the nickleback and is named after Roy Williams.
