The timing on neither was perfect.

I enjoyed the pregame flyover more since it was louder.

The halftime flyover was way late IMO, and not nearly as impressive.

The practice runs were impressive as well. I live on the NW corner of campus and we were outside Friday Morning/Afternoon and they flew over like 3 times, then again Saturday morning.

They should have flown over before the anthem and dropped leaflets with the words to the song. Or at least some enlistment forms. ;)

i was pleasantly surprised...didn't hear anything but "brave"

and also, the crowed cheered the AF team and their band. It was very respectful.

lol - i saw the video of pregame's "home of the ______" and the jets were flying over long before that line.

I was at the very top and middle of the student section and I mostly heard "Sooners", not "brave".

I live between the stadium and Tinker.... So we got to see the planes return to the base. They were still flying low and they were very loud! Pretty cool. I didn't even think about it at first until my wife said we should go outside and try to see them.

I see and hear those fighter jets take off everyday and I watch them as the do 6G+ bank turns to do touch and goes too...

I've been watching them do this steadily since 9-11-01.

I'm gonna tell you....seeing them fly over Memorial Stadium left goosebumps on my arms. We took our Cub Scouts last year on a tour of the National Guard F-16s last year and we got to climb up on the scaffolding and checkout the cockpit, got to do walk-arounds and take pics of the kids with the jets in the hangar and then while we were exiting the hangar the F-16s were coming in 4 at a time doing touch and goes and then they took the kids to the "Ready Room" where the pilots do their pre-flights and debriefs. Got to ask questions from one of the pilots, try on a helmet and a G-suit. One of the best tours I've ever been a part of.

The fly over Saturday by the jets and the C-17 was awesome!

The wife used to work at a school out on 108th, that must be parlle and underneath the AWACS and other planes' landing and take-off patterns because I swear sometimes it seemd like they were just a few feet overhead!

okay, was that some type of missing man formation? they were flying in sort of an asymmetrical V formation, with four planes. The other times i've seen that with four planes, they were in a diamond shaped formation. just wondering
