...after years of color flashes, turning off without notice, going black for :30 seconds.

Today, AD was making a run only he can do and the screen went black in the middle of it. :hot:

So I used my remote to turn it off. Literally. Right through the screen.

I've seen that countless times on TV and in movies and you know what?

It felt good.

Dayum good.

Now the POS is in the garage in a crap-pile and I suppose I'll have to haul it off sometime soon.

Still...

it felt really good.

Mine has had some color issues, fading in and out, I may have to break down and buy me a new shortly. I ahve always wanted to take a bat to mine, may try this new therapy

not quite 54 inches, but if you have a friend that can get on base, i had my dad pick me up a 47 inch magnavox LCD for 800 bucks out at the BX a few months ago...

Remember folks if you need some good deals let me know. I have shipped many TV's to members here and have had no complaints. AND if your outside of Texas you don't have to pay sales tax.

I don't need any dayum friends, I have my own blue card!

That sounds like a good deal.

I wouldn't have done what I always wanted to do, if I didn't already have a "gaming" 42" LED sitting next to the POS. I just moved it over into the empty spot left after I dismantled the behemoth.

At the risk of this becoming someone's siggy, I am missing that extry 12".

No pics, I already took it down to parade rest.
