I think it's Randy Galloway from Dallas. Don't know if he still has a vote, but he frequently says on his radio show that he thinks Texas is the best team in the country. Dunno if he still has a vote though.

when Switzer was @ dallas, galloway referred to him as "ISP".

Hard to disagree about the Texas vote, but, let's face it, Adam Sandler could have been the coach of the Dallas Cowboys in the mid-'90's with that team and won a Super Bowl. Just sayin'....;)

Who cares? I hope they are first when we beat them. Counter intuitive but we want them to win every game except when we play them.

Texas Longhorns Outperformed by Boise State Against Common Opponent Wyoming
The third ranked Boise State Broncos routed the Wyoming Cowboys 51–6 last night in Larime, and in the process may have bolstered the case to justify their lofty ranking based on what the No. 5 ranked Texas Longhorns did against the same Wyoming team last week in Austin.

The Boise State defense was about as stingy as they could be in last night's road game holding the Cowboys to just 135 total yards including a very impressive negative 21 yards in the rushing column.

Last week in Austin the Longhorns allowed Wyoming to rack up 257 total yards.

Texas was only able to generate 389 yards of total offense while Boise State put up 648 yards up against the Cowboys while playing mostly backups in the fourth quarter.

The yardage difference in the Texas-Wyoming game was 132 yards whereas Boise State posted a 513 yard differential.

Texas managed only seven more first downs than Wyoming, 20 and 13 respectively. Boise State worked their way to 32 first downs against the Cowboys seven for a huge advantage of 25.

The Broncos dominated the Cowboys in every facet of the game on their way to an impressive road win while the fifth ranked Longhorns looked average at best early in their home game against Wyoming before settling down to coast to the win in the second half.

If college football fans and writers chose to penalize Boise State based on the fact that Virginia Tech lost to FCS team James Madison subsequent to their loss to the Broncos, then those same writers and fans have to look at the huge margin by which the Broncos outperformed the Longhorns against their common opponent.

The fact that Boise State played Wyoming on the road while Texas had the Cowboys as a home game should only serve as further reinforcement of the No. 3 ranking afforded to Boise State.

Better Boise State than Fresno State...

Unless Fresno beats Boise...on the smurf turf.

That's right. We are gonna start the So and So State beat What's Their Name Tech, and We beat So and So State, so we will kill What's Their Name Tech argument.
