I knew OSUcks beat Tulsa but I didn't know they had that much offense with over 500 of it through the air.

Brandon Weeden, OSUcks' QB, went 23-32 for 409 yds and 6 TDs with 0 interceptions.

For a comparison, last year against Tulsa, Landry Jones went 25-37 for 336 yds and 6 TDs with 2 interceptions.

Question, is OSUcks a real threat or will we seem them fall apart soon?

I know, they almost lost to Troy last week but we have no room to talk with our flip a coin performances. With that, are they an average team with burst of great play, are they a good team with moments of lack luster performance, or are they a bad team that has just gotten lucky so far?

I'm hoping for :stunned:

Their offense is better than I thought it would be. I'm still unsure how good their defense is.

it's tulsa...they haven't played defense in years.

be optimistic... it was only 660.2 meters

Yeah, and ECU had like 500 yards of offense on them. Tulsa has zero defense!!!

Impressive this week, better than most thought they'd play against Tulsa. They have a chance of going 5-0.. Legit chance of beating A&M at home.

6-0 if they can get it done in Lubbock.. Then they play Nebraska

Air Force won't win a BCS game, nor will Utah State, but both would rack up ridiculous offensive numbers against Washington State and Tulsa's respective defenses.

As stated above, not sold on OSU's defense yet... or ever, really.

Tulsa had 8 in the box all night even after the 8th td pass so we played the hot hand plus Kendall makes our offense go so there's no real need to take a chance on him getting hurt when the game is a rout

I see a trend....

9/4 WSU, Kendall = 21 rushes for 257 yards (12.2 avg yds per rush), 4 TDs

9/11 Troy, Kendall = 28 rushes for 157 (5.6 avg yds per rush) 2 TDs

9/18 Tulsa, Kendall = 11 rushes for 59 (5.4 avg yds per rush) 0 TDs

Yeah....nothing to worry about...he'll make it up against Texas A&M...LMAO

What trend do you see. Plus everyone knows that no one could keep up that ridiculous pace from week 1

That's not what you aggies were saying after the first game. All the ones I know told me that was just the beginning for Hunter and they fully expected him to do that every game. Just saying

CowboyMRW

Everyone I know knew that he couldn't keep that up. NO one was saying he was going to keep the pace of almost 250 up a game. They may've been saying that he was the best RB in the conference but not that pace.

I'm impressed. 722 yards is a lot for a completely sucky afterthought of a half empty stadium team.

tulsa = bad, but weeden left after one series in 3rd

hunter only 11 carries.

Meh, nothing to see here. You are giving that little ag school too much credit. They will implode, just give 'em a little time.

Let 'em keep thinking they are worldbeaters until this year's shutout.

I'm not going that far, CA. Nothing about OUr D screams "dominant" yet. If Air Force and Utah State ran on us in Norman, we got some 'splainin' to do before we get to Augua De La Stool.

We'll stop them easily.
We have the 89th best defense in the country, statistically.

You're not really an aggie are you? I can tell, cause if you were a true aggie you would be talking like all the others that Hunter was going to have 200+ yards every game and be the number 1 pick in the draft.

texaspokieokie
9/20/2010, 03:25 PM
even Barry Sanders didn't get 200 yds every game; but did average over 200 in his last year.

Yeah, there was some big time Orange Kool-aid for KH the last two weeks here at the office.
That said, I don't know why they're so quiet now, it's not like the guy is hurt or was shut down... he was pulled early in a rout against what truly may be the worst defense in CFB.
