Very odd start time if you ask me. Oh, well.

Welcome to Cincinnati, Sooner Fans. If you're making the trip, I hope you enjoy your stay. Just don't expect a 'college' experience. Cincinnati is a 'pro' town and that goes for the obnoxious idiots who give my alma mater a bad name. The good news is that the Reds should clinch the NL Central by next Saturday and most of the bozos will be in a jovial mood and you won't get treated like Steeler or Raven fan. :(

If you're coming to town and would like some info about the Cincy area or some info on places to eat/stay...or ghetto's to avoid, send me a PM. I'll be around this week to offer up any help I can to my favorite fan base outside of Buckeye Nation.

Go Bucks.

ESPN has split the starts of the ABC-ESPN/ESPN2 games this season. The ESPN2 games have started at 6:00 Eastern and ESPN/ABC games have started at 7:00 Eastern.

Did that for Utah State. It was then I realized how spoiled I am now. Remember when we were REALLY lucky if we got half a dozen games on tv? We were a Top 5 Team in the 70's and 80's and a lot of games were relegated to the radio. At least BBJ was still coherent.

Yep. I like being able to see most of the games. I remember rigging up all kinda crazy antennas to pick up the radio broadcast in texass pre-net too.

Before the OU/Georgia lawsuit against the NCAA there were maybe three games a season other than the bowel game, the big non-conference opponent (like Ohio State), Texas and Nebraska that were broadcast. The lawsuit was over control of broadcasts and the NCAA had a limit of 3 or 4 games a season which usually meant only the big rivalry games were broadcast every season. After the lawsuit the CFA had more games broadcast but nothing like almost all of them now.

BBS was doing OSU games back then, John Brooks was doing OU games during most of that period.

Well I guess that it is better to see 3/4 of the game than none at all, now if only AFN is showing the game. It should start here at about 0100 in the morning, and I should be watching it starting in the 2d quarter after I get done pulling duty. Go SOONERS! It won't be against that pesky $#%*** triple option that AF ran so well.

LOL @ BOWEL game.
A few of those games weren't worth much more than the effluent that comes out of them....

I didn't know Oklahoma has already switched to standard time...

I get to watch the game on tape delay, so when it is 2am in Soonerland it will be 10am in Djibouti and I will be watching the game decked out in my Sooner gear (T-shirt and Flag).
