Dear Landry:

Its called looking off the receiver. Elite qbs do that but Landry needs to work on it a little bit. He made a couple of good throws doing it but rushed some doing it as well.

Why does it try to save the pic as ".htm" when I right-click it?
Then when I try to open what I've saved, I get a half-page of code but no pic.

My puter skilz are FAIL. :(

Don't QBs do that all the time? How else do they accomplish that nifty side-step at the last second causing the defender to harmlessly fly by?

Somehow I had a feeling that this board would be melting down again tonight, despite a W! I guess we are doomed to yet another week of "Bench Landry," "Our D sucks," "Our O-line sucks," and "fire our coaches" threads.

Josh still has some work to do and he is doin it, never fear. We were spoiled by Sam and very rarely will a QB play that error free as a soph. He has every single physical tool to be a great QB, just has to master the mental side

As a QB in a college system in most cases my first read was sam, willy, or mike linebackers. Depending on which way 'he' went my first two steps of the dropback I would then either go to weakside or strongside safety.....the QB IS watching the defense in order to find the open receiver.

Wouldn't read too much into the picture.....

Maybe we should be asking who let Cadet Sgt. Payne through??

Hard to tell from one pic. If there was a video showing him staring Payne in the eyes (pun intended) for a couple of secs, I would say its a problem. But of course he does have glance over to be aware of who's coming at him and where.
