We made a statement and drove the field on our first possession. Our offense started picking it up in the second half, our defense made the stops we needed to make, Stevens made his all of his field goals and extra points, and when we needed our offense to get a couple of first downs to put the game away, that is what they did. A win is a win is a win, and we're 3-0.:)

Yea I hope no one reads too much into this win either. The team continues to pull out Ws. Every game won't be the same. Next week we'll look stronger against Cincy, I'm sure.

At the end of the day, that's all that matters. Besides, Air Force is a tough, scrappy team with an O that's hard to get ready for. I'm really not surprised it was close.

Team that got 5 INTs against Houston in the bowl game last year.

Good defense, very impressive triple option offense.

Got the win... time to move on.

Very good team, I was shocked when we had the the 17 lead...

Good game, they make me nervous as hell, but atleast learn to gut it out... Not all games can be blow outs

They would have scored several points on Florida, Bama, Boise St etc..

Defenses just don't see this every week and it's hard to prepare for. True enough, we did win, so it's not doomsday. With that said, we want to see some consistency.

They might have beat some of those teams IMO.

It's like playing Tech under Leach. League opponents know what's coming, but for non-con and bowl games, it is much harder to scheme against them.

They were in every game last year, so I don't know if the likes of Utah or TCU will destroy them, regardless of how highly ranked that they are.

We were calling Utah State a "tough, scrappy team that's gonna win a lot of ball games this year" when they gave us all we could handle at home just like we are AFA now. Utah State is off to a dazzling 1-2 start and got blown out on their own field by Fresno State yesterday 41-24.

I dont think anyone was saying Utah St is a team that would win alot of games, most people including myself merely said that Utah st is a talented team that is better than the 4 wins they had last year. They had a top 15 offense in the nation and returned alot from that team
