Karl will make a second landfall in Mexico as a Category 3 hurricane this afternoon with life-threatening and damaging consequences.

The AccuWeather.com Hurricane Center has the latest stats on Hurricane Karl.

Coastal and nearby inland areas will be battered by high winds, tremendous waves and flooding rain today into tonight.

Trees will be downed, weakly constructed dwellings damaged or destroyed and people's lives will be in peril.

If you have relatives in Bermuda, you might want to call them.
