He said what high school he was from in his intro; he probably yelled during the anthem yesterday too, even if it was at his TV.

Not a real sooner, sadly :(

Saying his HS didn't bother me a bit. Everybody knows where and who he blocked for.

Jamaal's "University of Oklahoma" smile was rather endearing.

Honestly though, it bothers me when we can't even get it right on 9/11. If principle means anything, we as fans and as Americans more importantly should respect those who have come before us and died for us.

Trent is actually doing a pretty good job on Ware so far (I am a little behind on my Tivo). He was one on one and able to keep up with Ware's speed and deflect him out of the play twice already.

Now he's blocking great on that screen.

Dez Bryant, Orlando Scandrick and Tashard Choice will get a game ball a piece from Washington if the Redskins win this.

According to Michaels and Collinsworth (two of the best in the biz) Shanahan told them that Williams would be an All-Pro!

He is damn near flawless in his blocking so far. A true badass

I wish people would drop the whole 'players and their high school' thing. Trent Williams came back and played another year for OU after being told he was the best OL of OU's bunch in 2008, and we're whiny over him being proud of his hometown?

Likely bitter feelings after what Schmitty had to say about him.

I'm just glad to see him doing so well after quite a few people questioned him being drafted so high.

Dallas will need a new right tackle by the time the plane lands.

I would hope so...did you see the graphic earlier that he was the 2nd most penalized player since 2005? Flozell Adams was #1 on that list and Dallas got rid of him after last season.

Trent played really well, but the only thing that destroyed the Cowboys, was the Cowboys.

Actually it said HE was the most penalized since 05. Flozell was #2. But yeah, the dude sucks. He didn't even try to block Orakpo, just bear hugged him, then made it worse. He was a high draft pick who didn't work out and got traded. Now he needs to land at the bottom of the depth chart and give another guy a chance. I'm not even a Dallas fan. But he doesn't deserve to start for an NFL team.

I wasn't there, but I'm guessing you're talking about the "Home of the Sooners".... Like we as Americans have strived to do every day since 9/11, we shouldn't let the terrorists win, and continue to live our lives the way we do. "Home of the Sooners" is one of the greatest traditions in sports, and I have absolutely no problem with it no matter what the day.

Redskins were begging to lose that game last night and the Cowboys shot themselves in the foot every time.

The offensive line is a real concern, and i'm not entire sure that even when Columbo and Kosier get back that it is going to be that much of an improvement. Columbo looked old and slo in the pre-season. Romo was running for his life last night and was worried more about the rush than keeping his eyes downfield.

Questionable play calling again by Jason Garrett. Cowboys average about 5 ypc on the ground, but you only run it about 20 times? Then on the last play, you don't leave a blocker in the backfield to help out on Orakpo? Just doesn't make sense. Plus all the confusion on the play call after the time out on 2nd down.

Thought Trent played outstading for it being his 1st game and have to go against probably the best pass rusher in the business. Ware got by him a couple times and drew a false start penalty, but he'll definitely be a good one in another year or two of seasoning. Thought Jammal looked pretty good too considering he hadn't played in a year or so. Did a pretty good job on another up and coming pass rusher/run stopper in Spencer.

Sounds like a candidate for the Raiders.
