I was chatting with a friend who is a FSU alum, He thinks OU gave them the old Rop a dope by playing poorly against Utah State.. HAHA

They did look like two different teams but week one was very vanilla

Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket. We gave 'em the ol' rope-a-dope. We could have routed them anytime we wanted to. (Not buying it :) )

I think they played vanilla against USU but after getting out to a 21-0 lead they put it in cruise mode and lost focus which they have shown a tendency to do in the past with a big lead. When USU started to make a challenge they responded but only tepidly, I think if they would have tied the game or got within three they might have focused a bit more....but in the end it didn't really matter.

LOGAN, Utah -- Diondre Borel threw for 255 yards and a touchdown and ran for another score as Utah State overpowered Idaho State 38-17 Saturday night.

Borel, who was 21 of 26 for the Aggies (1-1), became the seventh USU quarterback to pass for 5,000 career yards. His 15-yard TD pass to Eric Moats put Utah State up 31-3 with 6:59 left in the third quarter.

Utah State winning a bunch of Conference Games would be a good thing for us.

Might be like having a premium Blue Bell Vanilla.

Utah State was clearly your typical sluggish first game. You won't look sluggish, though if your opposition isn't at least a little bit good enough to make you look that way. Giving credit to Utah State, we were clearly better than we showed.
