Cus of Sam. In the Rams last preseason game KOCB got a 8.1 rating which is HUGE for a preseason game, purely financial for Fox. They have said they will show every Rams game that Bradford starts as long as it doesnt conflict with the Cowboys

bluedogok
9/12/2010, 03:55 PM
He isn't throwing against Iowa State anymore, the defense closes faster in the NFL.
Something to that effect.

I have the Rams game on the big screen (I do have Sunday Ticket all season) and the local Fox station here has the Packers-Eagles game, that is on the small screen.

OUthunder
9/12/2010, 03:57 PM
Announcer said that this isn't Iowa State anymore, it's the big boys in the NFL after Bradford's pick. I got a chuckle out of it myself, albeit a cheap shot.

BTW, Philly 3 GB 0. Rodgers sacked x3 already in the 1st quarter.

Sam threw an INT and the doosh in the box said "Sam might get away with throws like that against Iowa State but not in the NFL".

I can see blasting a guy...even saying that was a bit of a Rookie mistake....but to equate Sam to College Level play when he just won the starting job and is lighting the AZ defense up at times.....what an idiot.

Nice catch by Clayton there. Looked like an Iowa State defense there. :D

Collier11
9/12/2010, 04:56 PM
16/26, 139 yards, 1 TD and 1 int in the 1st half.

I think for the Rams to have a chance to be decent, Sam needs to throw the ball about 30 times a game and Jackson have 30 carries. This 26 and 8 in the 1st half wont work

We had a play like that against Texas a couple of years ago where our receiver took two steps with the ball and went to the ground and lost the ball when he hit the ground. The weird thing is that I didn't think college has that rule.

You're right, college has a much different interpretation of the rule. The NFL is just extreme on the possession in the end zone but not as much so in the rest of the field. There was a similar issue in a NFL game about 10 years ago or so I first remember it being interpreted in that way.
