Ok, I've been slacking in this department for a few years, but I'm going to try to keep up with it this season.

For those of you that don't know, Jon Wilner of the San Jose Mercury News is generally considered to be the consistently worst or second worst AP Voter on a year to year basis. What I shall try to do, is put his Top 25 in this thread on a week to week basis.

Here are the Week 3 Results

Scott Wolf of the Los Angeles Daily News ranked Oklahoma 6th in his poll.

the interesting voter is Randy Rosetta of the The Baton Rogue Advocate who doesn't submit a poll early in the season.

If you want me to break it down based upon how people voted OU I can do that also.

7 voters had OU 3rd
4 voters had OU 4th
6 voters had OU 5th
12 voters had OU 6th
3 voters had OU 7th
6 voters had OU 8th
7 voters had OU 9th
9 voters had OU 10th
1 voter had OU 11th
1 voter had OU 12th

Notable voters Chris Fowler & Kirk Bohls have OU 3rd, Herbstreit 5th, Craig James and John Shinn 6th.

step's buddy Scott Wolf was rated once again the worst pollster...of course he's the only guy that thinks * is the #1 team in the country. Only slightly more moronic than the guy who votes Boise #1 continuing to use "that" Fiesta Bowl game in his argument for voting Boise #1.

FWIW, Wolf has been rated the worst pollster 2 of the 3 weeks, and those being the last two weeks. Wolf in his interesting top 5....

1. Texas
2. Alabama
3. Florida
4. Boise St.
5. TCU

OU is 6th with him.

Now on to our buddy Jon Wilner.

1 Ohio State
2 TCU
3 Alabama
4 Oklahoma
5 Florida
6 Boise State
7 South Carolina
8 Iowa
9 Nebraska
10 Texas
11 Oregon
12 Wisconsin
13 Utah
14 Miami (FL)
15 Arkansas
16 Air Force
17 Auburn
18 USC
19 James Madison
20 Missouri
21 Michigan
22 Oregon State
23 Houston
24 LSU
25 Pittsburgh

And last but not least...our weekly OU Watch

7 Pollsters have OU #3
4 Pollsters have OU #4
6 Pollsters have OU #5
12 Pollsters have OU #6
3 Pollsters have OU #7
6 Pollsters have OU #8
10 Pollsters have OU #9
9 Pollsters have OU #10
1 Pollster has OU #11
1 Pollster has OU #12
and Randy Rosetta once again declined to send in a Top 25.

At the rate this season may be going, this may turn into a Scott Wolf watch instead of a Jon Wilner watch. Although, I'm keeping my eye on Ray Fittipaldo (#12) although, in general Fittipaldo seems to be mostly fair.

thanks....

For those that dont know, Scott Wolf is the only voter who refused to put OU at number 1 throughout the 2000 season because even though they were the only undefeated team, "there was no way they could ever beat FSU if they played".
