They have been in a steady decline since OU beat them in the Rose Bowl and Mike Price left for strip clubs in Pensacola. Remember the last Willingham year (2008) at Washington? When they played the Apple Cup game Washington was 0-10 (including a 55-10 loss to OU) and Washington State came in at 1-10 with their win over I-AA Portland State, that was a Wazzu win 16-13. They struggled to beat a very bad Huskies team.

I live about 90 miles for WSU. The local talking heads just want them to be competitive in games......thats how bad it is. They are really, really bad. I think Eastern Wash(D2) would destroy them.

Yeah, Mike Price worked a miracle when he was winning there. They are the worst BCS conference team and it's not even a competition. I'll be surprised if they even come close to winning another game this year. They should get rid of Wulff and go after Leach.

Well, they did in the late nineties and early 2000's am I wrong?

While I don't watch a wazzou game like....ever.... and probably never will, I can guarentee that they are in their situations for reasons that are in their control (dropped passes, stupid penalties, turnovers, and other attributes of bad teams who are convinced that their failures are directly attributed to lack of money.)
